Symbolic figures, consciously and unconsciously structured forms; fragments that have formed unintentionally and others that are rigorously developed, some functioning less as subjects and more as points of tension within the image.

My background in painting restoration has trained my eye to structure and detail, but my own work develops instinctively. I rely on intuition and responsiveness, allowing the work to change direction as it is being made.

Rather than offering fixed meanings, the work leaves space for looking, and for the distance between what is seen and what is still unresolved.
